Account Deletion & Data Requests

This page explains how to delete your Bossy account and how to request a copy or removal of your data. It applies to web and mobile (iOS and Android).

Delete your account

If you are an account owner / administrator:

  1. Sign in to Bossy at bossyhq.com/app.
  2. Go to Settings → Account.
  3. Choose Delete account and confirm.

Deleting the account schedules the organization for deletion at the end of your current billing period (and in any case within 30 days). Until then you keep full access and can cancel from Settings → Account → Delete account. At the deadline we cancel any active subscription and permanently remove the organization's data as described below. If you cannot access your account, email support@bossyhq.com from the address on the account and we will verify and process the deletion.

If you are a team member (employee):

Your account and the data your employer manages in Bossy belong to your employer's organization. To delete your individual access or data, contact your employer's Bossy administrator. You may also email privacy@bossyhq.com and we will route your request to the controller (your employer) and assist.

What gets deleted

On account deletion we remove personal data and customer content associated with the organization, except where we are required to retain certain records (for example, billing and tax records) for a limited period required by law. Backups are purged on a rolling cycle. Aggregated or anonymized data that cannot identify you may be retained.

Request a copy of your data

To request a copy of your personal data, email privacy@bossyhq.com from the address associated with your account. We will verify your identity before responding and aim to respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Mobile apps

  • Android: this page is the public account-deletion URL for the Google Play listing.
  • iOS: account deletion is also available in-app via Settings → Account → Delete account, per Apple's requirements.
